Shipment Pre-Requisites

  •  Weight and Size Calculations
    1. Base Rate: Applies to shipments up to 2kg or 22cm x 22cm x 22cm.
    2. Additional Fees: EGP 1.5 per 0.5kg excess weight, calculated based on the higher of actual or volumetric weight (length x width x height / 6000).

  •  Service Limits
    1. Maximum Weight: 10kg per shipment
    2. Maximum Dimensions: 100cm x 50cm x 30cm
    3. Maximum Value: EGP 15,000 per shipment

  •  Prohibited Items
    1. Furniture
    2. Cash
    3. Fluids
    4. Food
    5. Medications or chemicals
    6. Cosmetics prone to temperature damage
    7. Drugs
    8. Fragile items
    9. Items susceptible to damage by bending or scratching
    10. Illegal or restricted items
    11. Pets or living creatures
    12. Valuable items (e.g., jewelry, luxury goods)

  •  Packaging Responsibility
    1. Shipper must properly package shipments to prevent damages.
    2. TCS reserves the right to inspect shipments.

  • Liability
    1. TCS is not responsible for shipment content or delivery.
    2. Shipper assumes full responsibility for damages due to inadequate packaging.

    6. Optional Insurance
    1. Does not waive shipper’s responsibility for proper packaging.
    2. Terms and conditions apply.

  •  Disclaimers
    1. TCS reserves the right to reject prohibited items.
    2. Acceptance does not imply liability.

    By using our services, shippers acknowledge understanding and agreement with these terms and conditions.

Account Registration Requirements

1. Personal Information: Full name (First, Middle, Last)
2. Company Information: Company Name (optional, but recommended)
– Note: If not provided, client’s full name will appear on the Air Waybill (AWB) as the Company Name.
3. Contact Information: Default Phone Number (primary contact for TCS communications)
Additional phone numbers can be added.
4. Identification: Valid National ID/Passport copy (email to info@transporter-group.com)

Service Activation

1. TCS Call Centre will send detailed Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) via email.
2. Client must review and accept T&Cs by return email.

Important Notes

1. Acceptance confirms understanding and agreement with T&Cs.
2. TCS reserves the right to verify provided information.
3. Account activation subject to successful verification.

Pickup and Delivery Policy

1. Same-Day Pickup: Requests must be made before 12:00 PM for same-day collection. Late requests will be collected the next business day or at a convenient time.
2. Drop-Off: Shipments can be dropped off at any TCA branch between 11:00 AM and 6:00 PM. After 6:00 PM, pickups will be recorded the next business day.

Job Order Requirements
1. Mandatory Documents: Two fully completed Job Order copies, filled out by the shipper only.
2. COD Value: Clearly stated on the Job Order.
3. Shipper Responsibility: Accuracy and completeness of provided data.

Pickup Procedures
1. Runner Time Limit: Adequate time for reviewing shipments and forms.
2. Unprepared Shipments: Runners may decline collection and reschedule.
3. Incomplete Data: TCS will contact shippers for clarification.

Cancellation and Return Policy
1. Missing/Incomplete Data: Shipments will not be processed.
2. Data Clarification: TCS will contact shippers within one business day.
3. Failure to Provide Data (3+ days): Shipments returned to shipper; cancellation fees apply.

Additional Notes
1. TCS reserves the right to reject shipments with incomplete or inaccurate data.
2. Shipper acknowledges responsibility for provided information.

Shipment Postponement and Return Policy

1. Maximum Postponement Period: 1 week for shipper or consignee-related issues.
2. Return and Fee Collection: Shipments will be returned to shippers after 1 week, with service fees collected.

Incorrect or Incomplete Data
1. Resolution Period: 4 days to resolve data issues.
2. Return and Fee Collection: Shipments will be returned to shippers after 4 days, with shipping fees collected.

Return Delivery Schedule
1. Returned shipments will be delivered to shippers every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday.

Liability Limitation
1. Maximum Storage Period: 30 days.
2. TCS Liability Ceases: After 30 days, TCS bears no liability.
3. Shipper Rights Waived: No claims can be made.
4. TCS Disposal Rights: TCS reserves the right to dispose of shipments.
5. Outstanding Fees: Shipper must pay applicable service fees.

Acknowledgement
By using TCS services, shippers acknowledge understanding and agreement with these terms and conditions.

Cash Settlement Frequency

Frequency Options
1. Daily: Every Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
2. Weekly: Every Sunday, Tuesday, or Thursday.
3. Biweekly: Alternating Sundays, Tuesdays, or Thursdays (around 1st and 15th of each month).
4. Monthly: First Sunday, Tuesday, or Thursday of each month.

Frequency Change Policy
1. One exception per month allowed.
2. 48-hour prior notice required for changes.
3. Notification to TCS is mandatory before changing frequency.
